Crawford (24-0, 17 KOs), 26, won his version of the 135-pound world title in March when he traveled to Ricky Burns' home turf in Glasgow, Scotland, and put on a boxing clinic to take the title by unanimous decision before returning home for the exciting defense against Gamboa, which turned out to be a clear fight of the year candidate.

Beltran (29-6-1, 17 KOs), 33, who many view as the uncrowned titleholder. Last September, Beltran, who is from Mexico and lives in Southern California, also traveled to Glasgow and challenged Burns for the title. But despite knocking him down, breaking his jaw and dominating most of the fight, Beltran was saddled with a controversial draw, which allowed Burns to keep the belt. In his next fight, Burns lost it to Crawford.

Fight Predictions
Good fight. Glad it's happening and Crawford is making his name the right way. Glad to see Beltran back in the mix as well after that Burns travesty. Terence Crawford is a future pound for pound king and i love he will be facing the brawling Beltran my prediction late tko for Crawford in another crowd pleasing fight. Given Crawford record, he has the higher probability to win regardless of the comparisons made with other fighters. The first time I saw Crawford fight I said the guy can box! Anyway u want it he can do he needs to make just little adjustments before moving up! I got Crawford by late TKO. I think Terrence will get off to a great start with Beltran coming on late as he tends to do. Beltran's problem is, he doesn't have exceptional speed and he doesn't always let his hands go. If Crawford's stamina holds up and he doesn't take too many big shots he'll have an opportunity to unload some hard combos. I don't think he can KO Beltran but, he might be able to get the ref to stop it if he starts landing unanswered punches. Just as Beltran will be a better puncher than Crawford has faced, Crawford will be the best boxer/puncher Beltran has faced in a while.
