John Dodson (18-7), a longtime top flyweight contender, meets John Lineker (28-7) in the main event of an FS1 show in Portland, Ore. at the Moda Center. Dodson is currently ranked as the No. 9 contender to champion Dominick Cruz, while Lineker is the No. 5 contender.
This Lineker is eternally entertaining, in the way that only a small ball of muscle punching things until they fall over can be. Watching him batter people around the cage brings to mind a tiny, fearsome Terminator, but I think the better Lineker descriptor is perhaps the Alien quote. "Its structural perfection is matched only by its hostility. This is a great fight to watch on.
