H O M EEarly report from Earthquake (Lindol) hits Bohol and Cebu. The Massive extremely dangerous earthquake in Cebu – At least 6 fatalities confirmed due to this earthquake struck around 8:15 am in the morning. As of 10 am, Cebu declared in state of calamity. The 400 year old Church in Bohol, Santo Nino Church of Cebu, Gaisano Country Mall and one of the Cebu Doctor's University were affected by the massive earthquake. Video here.
Update as of 11:20 AM: Cebu is in state of Calamity. No classes tomorrow for public schools. Cebu Airport is still on hold for a while.
According to the early report, Negros Oriental has no structural damage. It was in Carmen, Bohol that the epicenter located and earth strikes at 7.2 magnitude. Cebu and Bohol now experienced minor aftershocks within hours from the earthquake.
The intensities felt from ever provinces are the following,
Intensity VII - Tagbilaran, Bohol
Intensity VI - Inigaran, Negros Occidental, Cebu
Intensity V- Iloilo City; La Carlota
Intensity IV - Masbate City; Roxas City; San Jose, Culasi, Antique; Guihulngan, Negros Oriental
Intensity III - Davao City
