H O M EABS-CBN STARS AND PROGRAMS DOMINATE YAHOO! OMG AWARDS
ABS-CBN directed the victors as its celebrities, flagship primetime TV newscast and entertainment programs took dwelling the most number of accolades granted at the Yahoo! OMG Awards held recently.
Yahoo! OMG accolades, which determined its victors on online and text samples, bestowed Kapamilya stars Coco Martin and Angel Locsin the Actor and Actress of the Year accolades for the second year in a strip.
“Gandang Gabi Vice” and “It’s Showtime” owner Vice Ganda dragged off a three-peat with his Comedian of the Year award, while “Tuhog” star Eugene Domingo was entitled the Comedienne of the Year.
Primetime royalties Enrique Gil and Kathryn Bernardo, meantime, stuffed the innovation player and player trophies, respectively.
“KimXi,” the love group of Kim Chiu and Xiam Lim, obtained the largest number of votes to be announced Love group of the Year, a week before their first film as a tandem, “Bakit Hindi Ka trample ng trample Mo?” undoes in movies.
Toni Gonzaga, who hosts “The Voice of the Philippines,” “The Buzz,” and “Kwentong Kusina, Kwentong Buhay” took dwelling the very popular Female TV Host of the Year plum.
The recently concluded and top-rating primetime family drama “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” meanwhile, was entitled Best Teleserye.
Among the report programs, ABS-CBN’s flagship reportcast “TV Patrol” was bestowed the Best report and Public Affairs display of the Year, with anchor Korina Sanchez in person acknowledging the trophy. S
Blockbuster strike “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, was cast a vote video of the Year, following its record-breaking box-office presentation early this year.
Yahoo! OMG Awards, founded in 2011, identifies the most sought and top-trending celebrities and programs in music, movie, wireless and TV on the Yahoo! Philippines seek engine.
