Zsa Zsa Padilla, the longtime partner of the late comedy king Dolphy, has revealed that his family will be having a little accumulating on July 10 to respect his first death celebration. The movie icon had passed away a year before at the age of 83 after a five-year battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary infection.
"There is going to be a easy Mass lang and a brunch, that's it. Close family lang... Sa ngayon, pamilya lang muna (There is going to be a easy Mass and a brunch, that’s it. It's only for the close family... only the family is invited for now)," the vocalist was quoted as saying in an item on ABS-CBN report.
Zsa Zsa also took the opening to thank every person who would visit Dolphy’s serious at The Heritage reserve in Taguig town long after his interment.
"Maraming, maraming salamat sa lahat ng dumadaan at nagdadala ng bulaklak. Kasi paminsan nagpupunta kami doon, may mga bulaklak. 'Di namin alam kung saan nanggagaling, so express gratitude you very much (Thank you so much to every person who would visit and would convey flowers. Sometimes, when we visit, we would see blossoms there. We don’t understand where they came from, so express gratitude you very much.).” she said.
