H O M ETV owner Bianca Gonzalez said she sees herself having children in five years, but not before she gets married via the "usual traditional Pinoy" way.
The-30-year-old Gonzalez said she has started keeping up "for the future," which encompasses resolving down and having a family.
"Siyempre 30 na ako, I have to concretely believe about the future. Hindi na mura ang mabuhay ngayon, and in the future if ever, magpapatayo ka ng bahay, magkakaroon ka ng family, oo, kailangan pag-ipunan talaga."
"And yes, that encompasses settling down. Hindi ko alam kailan, but that encompasses resolving down," said Gonzalez, who is in a relationship with Barako Bull contestant JC Intal.
inquired if she feels "pressured" to get married, since she is now in her 30s, Gonzalez said, "In fairness, pressure hindi. I believe more than anything, I think 'yung lalaki 'yung nape-pressure talaga, eh."
"Pag babae, sitting attractive ka lang, eh. Maghihintay ka lang eh. Kung ayaw niya, 'di wag. Kung gusto niya, edi pag-isipan," she said.
The "Umagang Kay Ganda" owner related that she has habitually had her mind set on going about marriage the customary way, as seen in Filipino culture.
"Ako, decisively before I get pregnant and have children, dapat ikasal ako. The usual customary Pinoy. Ang concept ko ng wedding ceremony, magpa-paalam sa magulang ng isa't isa, bago ma-engage, tapos may preparation. May time para mag-prepare, tapos 'yung actual marriage," she said.
As to her preferred "time frame" for resolving down, Gonzalez conveyed up the practicality of conceiving a progeny relative to a woman's age.
"Im 30 -- ano ba ang [body] timepiece ng babae? -- gusto ko magkaanak no later than 35, so i-minus mo, somewhere there in between," she said.
When asked hypothetically if she feels "ready" to get wed, Gonzalez said, "I can't state I'm ready. I believe no young female can ever completely say I'm ready na na magpakasal."
"But then, leap of belief din pag nagse-say yes ang mga babae pag tinatanong sila. But I'll be very lucky if ever, because he's a very good man," she said.
