H O M ENilahad ni Megan juvenile ang atake na ginagawa niya bilang kontrabida sa Misibis embayment. Aniya: “My character is in writing in such a way na I get to threaten the bida with the way I gaze and with the way I converse. Yung tipong titig ko pa lang at sa pag-ingles ko, matutunaw ka na!”
pleased at manghang-mangha si Megan juvenile sa kanyang nakababatang kapatid na si Lauren juvenile nang makita niya ang husay nito bilang bida-kontrabida sa nangungunang primetime sequence ng GMA-7 na Mundo Mo’y Akin.
Sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Megan by Twitter, sinabi niyang sa YouTube lang niya napapanood ang ilang mga eksena ni Lauren.
Saad niya, “Siyempre, as her elder sister, joyous ako because she’s doing very well and a allotment of people are admiring her presentation.
“I only get to glimpse a couple of episodes on YouTube and ako na nagsasabi na nagugulat ako sa ipinapakitang portraying ni Lauren.
“Hindi ko inakala that she can proceed that way pala.
“I signify, to proceed like her feature in the sequence, parang ang hirap and only an skilled actress can do that.
“But when I observed Lauren, nagulat talaga ako, she can handle pala doing such roles—she can actually drag it off!
“Kaya when I complete an episode, I will text her to congratulate her on her performance.
“Lauren appreciates naman that I took time to watch her display kahit sa Internet na lang.”
MOST VOCAL. Inamin ni Megan na sa kanilang magkakapatid, si Lauren ang pinaka-vocal.
Ito raw ang mas open sa kanyang mga nararamdaman kapag masaya o malungkot ito.
Kahit nga raw sa pakikipagtalo sa ilang bagay, si Lauren ang pinaka-competitive sa kanilang pamilya.
Ayon kay Megan, “Kung titingnan mo kasi, parang pareho kami ni Lauren—yung quiet lang.
“But no, Lauren is very vocal. If she likes something, she makes certain na she will get it.
“And if she wants certain thing finished kaagad, she will do it herself.
"So, magkaiba kami ng personality.
“Ako kasi, I will take my time on anything.
"Hindi naman sa tamad ako, but I desire to concentrate on one thing muna baproceed I proceed to another.
“Si Lauren, she’s a multi-tasker. She can do like five things at a time, kaya she gets a allotment of things done kaagad.
“Ako kasi, it will take like a few days bago ko matapos ang mga dapat kong gawin.
“And when it comes to arguing over certain things, I can not ever win over Lauren.
“Kahit ako ang ate niya, Lauren would take her stand talaga.
“Kaya siguro nga, she’s good in her function sa TV series niya kasi part of her competitive character ay nilalagay niya doon.
“Which is good, kasi mas nakatulong in construction up her role.”
CATCHING UP. Pareho silang magkapatid na gumaganap bilang kontrabida sa TV ngayon. Kontrabida rin ang function ni Megan sa Misibis embayment ng TV5.
Napagkukuwentuhan ba nila ang pagganap nila bilang mga kontrabida kapag nagkakasama sila?
Sabi ni Megan, “Hindi kasi kami madalas na magkita ni Lauren.
“Kapag wala siyang fastening, ako naman ang meron, or sometimes I have school.
“Very seldom na pareho kaming walang work and we get to converse. But we don’t generally converse about work.
“Kapag nasa house kami, we converse about other things.
“Huwag muna ang showbiz, kasi parang the whole week ka na nga nagwu-work tapos yun pa ang topic ninyo.
“We go out na lang to shop, consume out or apprehend a video. At siyempre, girl converse on the edge.
“We try to apprehend up on one another since hindi nga kami madalas magkitang magkapatid.”
KONTRABIDA ROLES. Magkaiba naman daw ang pagiging kontrabida nila sa TV.
Kung si Lauren daw ay masyadong agresibo sa Mundo Mo'y Akin, si Megan naman daw ay scheming sa Misibis embayment.
Ani Megan, “Nagkataon nga na pareho kaming kontrabida ni Lauren but very different naman sa pag-portray namin.
“Ako kasi sa Misibis embayment, socialite siya and she wants her wicked designs na magawa nang malinis—yung hindi mahalata na siya ang nagplano.
“Plus I get to use my body for my devious designs.
“Since it's set in a resort, I’m wearing sexy swimwear to seduce the men na nagkakagusto kay Ritz.
“Enjoy naman ako doing such function kasi hindi siya yung usual na kontrabida na sumisigaw, nanabunot at nanampal basta-basta.
“My character is in writing in such a way na I get to intimidate the bida with the way I gaze and with the way I converse.
“Yung tipong titig ko pa lang at sa pag-Ingles ko, matutunaw ka na!”
SEXY PICTORIAL? Ang mga kasabayan ni Megan sa time of the year 2 ng StarStruck na sina Ryza Cenon at LJ Reyes ay naging cover girls na ng FHM.
Dahil sa kaseksihan ni Megan sa Misibis embayment, papayag na ba siyang maging cover young female din ng FHM?
Sagot niya, “I’ve been offered many times in the past, but I habitually state na hindi pa ako ready.
“Feeling ko naman kasi, hindi ako bagay na maging cover young female ng isang men’s magazine.
“Iba kasi when you’re on the cover of a latest trend or a way of life magazine—nandoon ang confidence ko kasi you’re all clothed up and all that.
“Pero kapag men’s magazine na kasi, kailangan talaga sexy—from the pose and what they desire you to wear.
“For me, I will seem very inapt, kasi nga, I actually don’t see myself na ganoon ka-sexy.
“Bagay sa ibang young women, kasi kita mo naman ang self-assurance nila to actually represent and be out there.
“Ako, hindi ko talaga kaya at baka pagtawanan lang nila ako kapag naging cover young female ako ng FHM.
“Mahahalata na uncomfortable ako kaya huwag na lang, di ba?”
