After a break-up with Roco Naccino, Sheena Halili keeps her heart guarded

StarStruck alumna Sheena Halili accepts as true that the right friend for her is a “man of God.” She sees herself being with a friend who can lead her in the direction of doing good. In an interview, the Binoy Henyo lead player states, “Siguro yung pag nakita ko na kaya niya ako i-lead, at ili-lead niya ako sa tama, hindi sa mali, yun siguro, feeling ko, right friend yun para sa akin. And kailangan love din yung family ko.”

Kapuso actress Sheena Halili has taken on her first mother role in the imminent Kapuso soap, Binoy Henyo.

The StarStruck alumna had no qualms acknowledging the project despite portraying a mother at only 26 years vintage.

“Young pa ba ako?” Sheena pointed out in an interview with the press throughout a pictorial last July 5, Friday, at the Amoranto Auditorium in Quezon City.

“Sa age ko naman, puwede naman akong maging nanay, e.”

Other actresses her age would deny to undertake the role, and Sheena said she flawlessly realises why.

“Naiintindihan ko sila na merong silang likeness, meron silang vocation path, di ba?

“Ako naman kasi, alam ko hindi ito ibibigay sa akin ng GMA kung hindi sila
naniniwala na kaya ko maging nanay,” the chinky-eyed, pretty face said.

“Masaya ako sa dinami-dami namang artista na maiisip nila para maging nanay ni David, ako.

“So, yun. Siyempre, yes ako dun!

“Maganda yung story, healthy yung display, and maraming matututunan yung bata [at] mga nanay din.

"Family-oriented din yung show.”

Cast with Sheena in this tear-jerker drama is GMA-7’s newest gifts, six-year-old David Remo, who plays a kid genius. Sheena will meanwhile depict the illiterate mother of David’s character.

The actress conversed about her function, “May anak akong genius, pero ang nanay niya is degree two lang ang natapos.

“So, hindi ako marunong magbasa, pati [sa] pagsusukli hindi ako magaling, lagi akong mali-mali.”

Despite her character’s flaws, Sheena sees her as a powerful woman who will do whatever it takes to defend her child.
