FIGHT RESULTS UPDATE:
The Filipino Boxer Milan Melindo made his quote as he stopped Mexican Francisco Rosas and had his vacant WBO Inter-Continental flyweight crown of the main event of “Pinoy Pride 8 - Philippines vs. Mexico” at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
Melindo was dominant at that fight with his speed and strong combinations.
Referee Bruce McTavish stopped the fight at start of the 11th after Rosas refuse to exchange punches and being hesitant to continue as the latter was absorbing the punch of Melindo on the 10 rounds.
Melindo has now 25-0 with 9 KO’s while the 31-year-old Rosas fell to 22-9-2 with 13 KO’s.
On the other prospects, Jason Pagara lost to Rosbel Montoya by unanimous decision.
Genesis Servania beat Gerson Guerro by unanimous decision.
Philippines VS Mexico was 2-1 on the Pinoy Pride 8 Event.
