“Cave will serve as a test for AJ and if he can pull an impressive win, then it will be the time that we will bring here Concepcion for a rematch,” said ALA Promotions CEO Michael Aldeguer during a news conference yesterday at the Savannah Grill and Lounge of Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.
“I have Concepcion in my mind,” Banal said. “I will beat Cave first, and then I would ask Concepcion for a rematch.” On the undercard, undefeated slugger Lorenzo “Thunderbolt” Villanueva (20-0, 19 KOs) and technician Michael “Bruce Lee” Domingo (40-15-2, 15 KOs) will try to hold their ground against a pair of Indonesian fighters.
“There are a lot of calls for a fight,” Aldeguer said. “But I think it is best that we don’t rush Villanueva at this stage of his career. The big fights will come. His time will come.”

On the report of sunstar.com.ph,
"THE Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City is usually the home of the successful “Pinoy Pride” boxing series of ALA Promotions. Five out of six installments were held at the famed hotel in Cebu City. However, in the upcoming “Pinoy Pride 7” on July 23, ALA Promotions is reaching out to a different area in the boxing-fanatic province of Cebu—at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.
“It’s a nice venue, air-conditioned and big. We also want to expand the market and Lapu-Lapu City has a lot of foreigners and tourists,” ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer told Sun.Star Cebu."
“Pinoy Pride has become so big and not all can go to the Waterfront, as most of them can only watch it on TV. It’s different when fans feel the action live. The crowd in Waterfront last June 11 was the second biggest in Waterfront next to Gorres vs. Darchinyan and a lot of international and foreign tourists and first-timers that never watched boxing live were there.”
Access
Aldeguer said the fully air-conditioned Hoops Dome will be the perfect venue because it can hold around 8,000 people.
“Yes, it’s accessible plus we plan to transport fans from Cebu to Lapu-Lapu City to make it convenient for them, aside from the huge market in Mactan.”
