Pinoy Pride 6: The Grudge Rematch for Rey "Boom-boom" Bautista Vs. Heriberto Ruiz as the main event of the fight this coming June 11, 2011. A comeback fight for Rey Bautista on this Pinoy Pride 6 after his second loss to Heriberto Ruiz during their first fight way back 2008. Rey Bautista's loss was a learning experience for him to put all what he got in his boxing career. He has the power and toughness to fight Herberto Ruiz now.
When their first encounter, He fought as pinoy warrior even though he got injured in his wrist pretending to be alright while he carried that injury. That was his 2nd painful loss and that was a lucky won by Herberto Ruiz. This time, Rey now is a complete fighter, that he recently knockout Barerra in his last fight. Compared to Herberto Ruiz, as they analazed that mexican Barerra is better than Ruiz when it comes to fight record. That's what they believe that he can knockout the Mexican Ruiz in this rematch fight where this fight is also for the IBF International featherweight title and he's hungry for the title as well as the improvement of his ranking.
But they dont have to see that way, as Mexican fighter is clever and warrior hearted boxer and that gave Bautista a very hard challenge to him for this is the second fight - he make sure that he owns the victory here in our country - Pinoy Pride. Let's see if boom-boom will do his promise as a grudge fight for Heriberto Ruiz.
This fight will be hosted at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and will once again be the big boxing event of Pinoy Pride under ALA Promotions President and CEO Michael Aldeguer calls this “the biggest event we could have done this year.”
